I've been a certified athletic trainer since 2007, originally providing healthcare to the student-athletes at Utah State University. I then moved to the Seattle area, where I was re-introduced to the world of high school athletics. After 4 years in the Pacific Northwest, I returned to my hometown of Green River to start a new Sports Medicine program.
I teach courses at the high school for students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. After school, I serve all student-athletes in the school district by providing athletic training services. I am available to evaluate, treat, & aid in rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Students in Sports Medicine are welcome to become student athletic trainers (ATS) if they so choose. The ATS program allows for hands-on, real-life experience in the healthcare field rarely found in other areas of study.
